Shannon Capparelli is the owner and litigation paralegal of SC Trial Tactics. She has recently relocated from Sacramento, California to Houston, Texas. She has over 20 years’ experience in preparing and presenting for trials and/or arbitrations hearings.  Almost every year over the past decade she has attended and presented in one or two hearings per year.  She has experience in preparing and presenting in both in person, virtual, and hybrid hearings.

Shannon has experience drafting exam outlines, preparing PowerPoint presentations for opening and closing, preparing videotaped depositions and pre-labeled exhibits electronically for easy loading in presenter software (TrialDirector or OnCue).  She also has experience using TrialDirector and eDepose for virtual deposition.

She also has extensive advanced skills in software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe. She can provide any general paralegal services including assisting with document review, prepare deposition and medical summaries.  She has advanced skills in conversions from PDF to Word and/or Excel, including converting pleadings to word or invoices, phone records, bank records and timesheets to spreadsheets.  She can also prepare advance spreadsheet formulas to assist with damages analysis, budgeting and filtered auto summaries.

As a new arrival to the Houston area, Shannon is looking for the opportunity to get to know the local legal community and learn Texas civil litigation law.
